The generation born after World War II and into the 1950's. Baby Boomers are notable for asserting that of all generations in history, that only they are truly virtuous and compassionate, and so are uniquely entitled to consume the accumulated wealth of past generations while leaving nothing for future generations.
Their message to the younger generations is, "You must earn your wealth, the way we didn't".
