The 'fremen' addition was not a 'correction', it was an alteration, to have your statement make sense. Only a lamer like yourself would alter an IRC conversation to present themselves as being able to make a spur of the moment Dune reference.

Including a larger extract of the log gives the reader a chance to recognise the distinct possibility that it took you some time to come up with the "stillsuit" comment. Following Tigger_'s comments, you were so eagerly anticipating a moment to inject this nerd-culture reference, that you didn't give yourself time to craft the comment properly, hence the subsequent historical revision.
