AVATAR: THE BIGGEST FILM OF ALL TIME

Avatar has sailed past Titanic to become the highest-grossing movie of all time. In just 47 days, Avatar has grossed $601.1 million, while Titanic made $600.8 million in its entire run and took 252 days to cross the $600 million mark.

We are days away from seeing it overtake Titanic, which holds the record at $1,848,813,795.


This is a very exciting time for my Movie Club. Channel members shall recall my prediction at least a year ago that Avatar would become the highest grossing film of all time. My prediction has come true.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!

Shock and awe has transpired throughout the movie industry today as James Cameron's epic 3d film, AVATAR reaches in excess of a billion dollars revenue at the box office. Worldwide: $1,018,811,000.
AVATAR is now the 4th biggest film of all time. Overtaking The Dark Knight, and will topple Lord of the rings, and Titanic over the coming weeks.

As I surmised over a year ago, AVATAR is well close to being the biggest movie of all time. This should be evident within a month.

B1RD HAS CHOSEN REQUIEM FOR A DREAM!

Requiem for a Dream is a 2000 film adaptation of the 1978 novel of the same name. The novel was written by Hubert Selby, Jr.; the film adaptation was directed by Darren Aronofsky, and starred Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans. Burstyn was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.
