The b1rd is sad to inform fellow #politicaldebate-ians that the b1rd has died due to having a static IP address and the vicious attacks directed at him from Austnets packet kiddies. Regardless of this, he has informed me that he has decided to have a break from IRC life and instead spend more time on the web and studying "computer science" etc. He demands that all the decent people on IRC *DEMAND* that Austnet block all foreign IP address' in order to prevent any more decent hard working IRCers leaving the field. Clearly nobody outside Australia uses the Austnet chat network, we don't want darkies and americans to chat with anyway. No more shell accounts, proxies and script bunnies. Take a stand and acquire some balls Austnet IRCops, you silly muppets.
Do not fret though, many good times will be had on this wonderful political debate website instead of IRC.

PSS. There will be a memorial service for the b1rd to be held online at a time and date to be announced shortly.

The b1rd has informed me that he plans to get a new BNC and return to IRC within 12 > 24 hours. He is not quite sure if the script kiddies have cracked Austnets host masking or not so must be protected.
