Nice big user avatars

Previously the user avatars were limited to a 50x50 pixels size, as much larger and they would break out of the template in various ways to very ugly effect. But this has now been fixed after a lot of messing around with the site's CSS, so that avatars can now be up to 100x100 pixels. This is much, much nicer, with the comments section modified to display this to beautiful effect. So to update your avatar, just select "My account" in the main menu, and the "Edit" button on your Profile Page. This joins the many other subtle improvements to the site, which hopefully you notice.

One problem I keep running into, that is not getting any better, is the proliferation of different browsers and slightly differing interpretation of CSS. I use Seamonkey, which I always assumed was 100% compatible with Firefox, but this seems no longer to be the case. Then of course there is Opera, Safari and Chrome, and while Opera seems to be quite good I am yet to look at Safari or Chrome at all. Worst of all is Internet Explorer, that not only requires its own rules, but differing rules between versions of IE. I will not bother losing much sleep over Internet Explorer though, since I trust the good people here know better than to ever use that.
