Tetsuo The Bullet Man

After twenty years Shinya Tsukamoto returns to Tetsuo, the film series that put him on the map, with a third instalment; "Tetsuo The Bullet Man."

This is also his first film in English, seemingly to capture the international market, so perhaps there will be an Australian cinema release. What is certain is that it will walk all over Terminator Salvation.

Town disgrace, and Asperger's sufferer LamontCranston has been seen hanging around the train stations, slowly sipping away at a $5 cask of warm white wine trying to figure out why he couldn't win.

New Zealand renationalises its rail network.

This is a good example of how little attention Australia pays to New Zealand in the news; in the dying days of Helen Clark's Labour government KiwiRail, New Zealand's national rail service, was brought back into public ownership. The first I heard of this was reading the Centre for Independent Studies website.
